- Art Nouveau work, cast in gilded bronze and fired in unglazed white porcelain, figures head, neck, upper limbs and swans. Inspired by Greek mythology, the work depicts Zeus' illusionary swan falling in front of Princess Leda, who wears a pala cloak and obliquely watches the swans flying into the lake. The delicate expression of the characters in the work, the beautiful and charming Lida and the sturdy and graceful swan look at each other affectionately, and the simple and slight interaction hides endless connotations of love. The back of the work bears the artist's signature and the seal of the Fabrication Française / Paris foundry.
